Rebecca Ingram is a Creator & Writer for TV who currently has several international shows in development with prominent production companies, including her supernatural political thriller with Windlight Pictures part of ITV Studios Germany. She is also writing a true crime series for Beyond Productions – part of the Banijay Group, as well as writing on TV dramas with Australian companies Sweetshop & Green, Tilt Media and Magpie Pictures. Rebecca also works as a freelance writer in TV drama writers rooms for production companies.

In 2024 Rebecca was a finalist for Studio 21's scriptwriting award with her most recent project The Call of the Fox Children, her travel supported by Screen Australia to pitch the show at Content London. In 2022 she was a finalist BBC’s & World Productions’ Scriptwriting Award with her Welsh crime community series Grounded, and has been a finalist several times over for the Australian Writers’ Guild’s premier scriptwriting awards, as well as inducted into the AWG’s Pathways program for her juvenile justice crime series Dog Box.

Rebecca has consistently attained prominent development financing for her shows, as well as being selected for several international film labs and Hollywood Showrunner masterclasses supported by screen agencies such as Screen Australia, Screen NSW, Screenworks,  and The Australian Directors Guild - Metro Screen Fellowship. In 2017 Rebecca was selected as part of Screen Producers Australia 'Ones to Watch' as an upcoming Creative Producer.

Passionate about creating compelling female-led series that shine a light on unique worlds, Rebecca has worked with some of Australia’s most exciting and diverse talent in the development of her shows. She is also an experienced Development Executive working on a slate of high-end drama series for production company Magpie Pictures including the upcoming Swift Street (SBS, 2024). Production credits include Seachange (Channel 9), and the AACTA winning series, Deadlock (ABC TV).

In Rebecca’s early film career she also created many award winning social justice short films with youth in detention centres, as well as working with urban and remote communities across Australia. She also engaged in multi-discipline performances as a video artist and storyteller for companies such as Djilpin Arts, Arnhem Land (with Tommy Lewis), Beyond Empathy & the sell out ‘Stand Your Ground’ video art performance PACT Theatre, Redfern Sydney. Rebecca has also had her video work exhibited at galleries such as Armidale Gallery & Edith Cowan Gallery, W.A.
