Rebecca Ingram is an Australian television writer, creator and creative producer whose original drama series have been optioned and developed by prominent production companies in Australia and internationally. Known for bold, high-concept storytelling and distinctive female-led worlds, she has built a strong track record developing premium crime, thriller and genre projects for the global market.

Her work has received significant international recognition, including selection for the 2026 Writers’ Vision Pitch at Seriencamp Cologne - supported by Screen Australia & Regional Arts NSW. In 2024, her series The Call of the Fox Children was a finalist in Studio21’s international drama competition at Content London (also supported by Screen Australia) before being picked up for development by Studio21. She was also a finalist for the BBC and World Productions Scriptwriting Award, and has received multiple Australian Writers’ Guild award nominations.

Alongside her writing, Rebecca has worked in writers’ rooms and as a development producer with Magpie Pictures for several years, contributing to the development of high-end television drama, including Swift Street (SBS TV, 2024). Her broader screen credits include SeaChange (Channel 9), League-ability (ABC TV), and the AACTA Award-winning series Deadlock (ABC TV).

Rebecca continues to develop an ambitious slate of original international television dramas.

Early in her career, Rebecca created award-winning short films with young people in detention centres and developed work across urban and remote communities throughout Australia. Her practice expanded into interdisciplinary performance and video art, collaborating with artists and companies including Djilpin Arts in Arnhem Land (with Tommy Lewis) and Beyond Empathy, and performing in the sold-out video work Stand Your Ground at PACT Theatre in Redfern. Her video work has also been exhibited in galleries including Armidale Gallery and Edith Cowan Gallery in Western Australia.
